simplistic cake recipe
All what you need are:
2 eggs, 3/4 cup of Sugar ( brown or white), 2 cups of Wheat, 1 little yogurt cup (125 g), 1/2 a thing of butter (warm it up to be liquid "Important"). And (if you want) some dried fruits, for example: dates, dried figs or apricots.
how you do it?
Throw every thing inside the blender , mix for about 2 minutes !
wipe your baking form with oil not to be sticky.
Pour the mixture into the form, let it relax for one hour, and then bake with 175° (middle) about 30-40 minutes.
oh yes about the dried fruits, you can also not put them in the blender, but chop them with the knife, and then mix them by hand, so that you'll have pieces of fruit inside you wonderful cake.
So, if you have a birthday of "someone" soon, and never made a cake, just try this. it takes 6 minutes of work and tastes, for such simplicity, quite surprising.
cheers,
Nael

Do you know......

Sitti's Birthday
I have uploaded some pictures of sitti's birthday which we received from Rami. All we need now is an update about the event...!
much love,
Bisan
Website Tip - al-Gathafi
For example about religion. AlGathafi says
that Ibraham was Muslim and all other prophets as well due to verses from the Quran. So Islam is different than "Muhammadism". Islam is the religion of God. The followers of Mohammad are Muslims but also the followers of Jesus, Moses and all others who preach of one God are Muslims. So when someone insults Islam or Muslims, he is insulting all people who believe in one God. As well, insulting Mohammad is insulting one of the Moslim prophets. So he wonders "why when someone from Denmark insults Islam, the followers of Mohammad are angry?! It's an insult to every believer in God, let him insult"!!!
Gathafi is the living Ghandi, even the same name, just with arabic accent :-)
have fun and "knowledge",
Nael

JOKE
joke
A lady walks into a very upscale jewelry shop. She browses around,
spots a beautiful diamond bracelet and walks over to inspect it.
Bending over to get a closer look, she accidentally passes gas.
Extremely embarrassed, she freezes for a few moments and then slowly
straightens up and turns around to see whether anyone has noticed her
little accident. Her worst fears are confirmed in the form of a
Salesman standing right behind her.
Cool as a cucumber, the salesman greets the lady with a very
professional, 'Good day, Madam. How may we help you today?'
Hoping against hope that he may just not have been there at the time
of her little 'accident', she asks, 'Sir, what is the price of this
lovely bracelet?'
He answers, 'Madam, if you farted just looking at it, you're going to
shit when I tell you the price.'

Dafer is back
ive been away for a while and did not contribute to the family blog, my bad, but i have been really really busy.
my laptop broke down so i am currently fomputerless, and in order for me to use a computer i have to check if my roommate isnt using his, or come to the library for that.
i am good though, my studies are good, very stressful though, i have 4 courses and a bachelor paper to write on top of that. my exams are in 3 weeks time, andthe stress is already starting.
I am going to germany next week to celebrate easter with the family there, it has been a really long time that i've seen them and hopefully we will get drunk enough with jamal.

from Amani
Some thing funny happened with Sete Mariam last Saturday.
Some one called her from Spitany Center to ask her where she is living, because her cleaning machine is broken and need to be fixed soon.
She replied Walla I don’t know I can’t explain you where I am living lol.
When she told me this I asked her Miriam why did you reply like this she said I forget where I am living , but after she closed the line she remembered that she is leaving near Almared Center …………
Ha Ha ha
Poor Mariam ………………
We are going to Celebrate her 87 years old next week the 17th of March , so any suggestions what to do on that day please let me know because I am planning to do a very special Day.
Have a nice day
Yours

Aunt Najeya is fine
Better if we do not phone the hospital to let her recover totally.
To keep you informed I will update the news at Dar Qassis.
Uncle Basem phoned yesterday and told that aunt Najeya had had already the operation. It went alright.
Uncle Basem thinks that she might come out of the hospital before eastern, so that we can celebrate together again.

Joke
Mommy... I was at the playground and I saw Daddy's car go into the
woods with Aunt Jane.
I went back to look and he was giving Aunt Jane a big kiss. Then he
helped her take off her shirt.
Then Aunt Jane helped Daddy take his pants off, then Aunt
Jane........"
At this point Mommy cut him off and said, "Johnny, this is such an
interesting story, suppose you save the rest of it for suppertime.
I want to see the look on Daddy's face when you tell it tonight."!
At the dinner table, Mommy asked little Johnny to tell his story,
Johnny started his story, "I was at the playground and
I saw Daddy's car go into the woods with Aunt Jane. I went back to
look and he was giving Aunt Jane a big kiss
Then he helped her take off her shirt then Aunt Jane helped Daddy
take his pants off, then Aunt Jane and Daddy started doing the same thing that
Mommyand Uncle Bill used to do when Daddy was in the Army."
Moral: Sometimes you need to listen to the whole story before you
interrupt.
I recieved this joke yesterrday, I hope you will like it.

from Hani
The honorary ceremony yesterday was nice. Many people attended. Bishop Munib, Abdallah Awwad. Mayer of Beit Sahour Hani AlHayek, gave words of appreciation. At The end I said my word. After that there was a good reception.
Thank for the church who organized this ceremony and many thanks for the people who attended.
Hani's honorary farewell party
As most of you already know, uncle Hani received yesterday an honorary farewell party from the church meant to thank him and appreciate his wonderful work and services during the period he worked both as a school head master and as the church preacher.
In the family album, you’ll find some pictures of this event which i received from Rula.
I hope that we’ll hear more news from uncle Hani and that he will become a more active member in our blog.
Love,
Bisan
