الجمعية العمومية الدولية للحركة العالمية للدفاع عن الأطفال
رام الله -معا- أعادت الجمعية العمومية الدولية للحركة العالمية للدفاع عن الأطفال انتخاب الفرع الفلسطيني رئيساً للحركة.
وانتخبت الجمعية رفعت عودة قسيس ممثلاً عن الفرع الفلسطيني رئيساً للمجلس التنفيذي العالمي للحركة لثلاث سنوات قادمة.
وأكدت كافة فروع الحركة في آسيا وأفريقيا وأوروبا وأمريكا اللاتينية واسترالية وكندا خلال اجتماعها في العاصمة البلجيكية بروكسل الأسبوع الماضي تمسكها بقيادة الفرع الفلسطيني لدوره في الدفاع عن حقوق الأطفال الفلسطينيين تحت الاحتلال.
ووصلت الفرع الفلسطيني للحركة برقيات تهنئة من عدد من لجان الأمم المتحدة ومقرريها الخاصين وعدد من السفارات والقنصليات والممثليات الأجنبية في الأراضي المحتلة، كذلك من شركاء وممولي الحركة ورؤساء فروعها من مختلف أنحاء العالم.
بدوره أكد قسيس الاستمرار في مسيرة الحركة، والنهوض بها إلى الأمام من أجل تحقيق العدالة واحترام حقوق الأطفال دون أي شكل من أشكال التمييز.

Amani, Mia and Facebook
Congratulations to Amani and Saed. If someone has pictures from the wedding, it would be nice to post them at darqassis. (send to Bisan)
We hope that Mia had a nice birthday. Sorry for not writing, but we were still visiting Ramzy that time. (He does have computer and Internet but we didn't have our calender!)
It is not only Rifat, who didn't write recently, but the blog was neglected after the summer. It is true that last summer the blog had also a recession but it was much shorter than this year. So it is not because we saw each other "enough" in the summer, but there should be other reasons for the family to "stops" posting at darqassis, which we need to discover:
On my part, I blame facebook, this globalized community portal shit!

apology
Dear family,
I have to apologize for not being active in writing to the blog recently. I was just busy and traveling most of the time. First let me wish Mia a happy birthday and sorry for the delay. Second thanks for your best wishes to my birthday and special thanks goes to the part of the family in the Netherlands who organized a nice party for me on the 2ed and thanks also to the ones who attended from Germany and the friends who attended from the Netherlands. Also I should thank Ibtisam and the part of teh family in Beit Sahour who organized a surprised birthday party on the 5th of October and thanks for the ones who attended it as well.
I should also send specail congratualtions for Amani and the new comer to the family "Saed" for their weding. The weding party and ceromony were just great.
I also should mention that I was reelected president for the DCI movement in the General Assembky held in Brussels last week.
Special note goes to Gasem known as Kasem..you don't need to promote dar mitri and l stick to dar qassis and we promise to be active again
